A Better Way Of Working

Charity Buddy has supported around 60 organisations to date by providing volunteers with professional and creative skills to help with projects, tasks and ongoing volunteering roles. We’ve grown quite rapidly, and, as I’m sure you can imagine, keeping up to speed with our clients and volunteers has been a challenge!

To improve our processes we’ve introduced a new system that will enable us to help even more organisations, and to enable us to keep a track of everything that is happening with each request for support.

A Note For Volunteers

The requests that we receive from our animal welfare clients are now being posted onto our volunteering hub. Obviously if we already have a suitable volunteer in our database (who is available) we may choose not to publicly post each volunteer opportunity, therefore, if there is ever a task, project or role that appeals to you, please do get in touch if we haven’t approached you. It may be that we aren’t aware of a certain skill set that you possess, or that you are available to help! Please also keep us updated about the volunteering that you do. It’s important and helpful to us to hear your feedback.

A Note For Clients

We will continue to work in the same way as we have done in the past, which is via you completing a support request form. Once we have discussed the support that you need we will agree how we will proceed. If we advertise on your behalf, please ensure that you follow up quickly with all volunteer applications, as it is important to us that we respond quickly. In many cases, even if the volunteer is not quite right for your task, project or role, they are likely to be needed by us for another assignment elsewhere. We offer this service for free, and our goal is to help the people that help animals. Your feedback is important to us, so please do let us know how our volunteers have helped.
