New Trustee Roles At War Paws
ANIMALS IN IRAQ AND OTHER HOSTILE ENVIRONMENTS NEED YOUR HELP!
War Paws charity, based in the UK with its shelter in Iraq, aims to alleviate the pain and suffering of animals in hostile environments and areas of civil conflict. There are lots of ways you can help them to give these animals a chance of a better future.
War Paws are actively looking for 2 to 3 trustees to join their small team.
ACCOUNTING TRUSTEE - An experienced person is needed who is ‘hands on’, and will be able to manage the day to day accounting procedure of income and expenditure, ultimately submitting the end of year accounts to the Charity Commission. For more information and to apply please click here.
FUNDRAISING TRUSTEE - This role is all about identifying grants and fundraising opportunities, making applications and following up. In addition to raising money, the charity needs to engage support for medical products, pet food and other key items.
All trustees provide their services from home, so access to a computer is essential. The charity holds 3 meetings a year (remotely) which all trustees are asked to attend. For more information and to apply, please click here.
